MY NAME IS ASHLEE HAYDEN
I am a professional photographer based out of San Diego, CA. I am mom to three sprightly boys, one feisty girl, and a wife to a very loving and supportive husband who has made my photography dreams possible.
I have loved taking photos for as long as I can remember, and have been capturing memories professionally since 2011. As a mom, I can tell you they don’t stay small forever, so every single piece of them, from their itsy bitsy toes, to their puckered little lips, needs to be documented and preserved forever in photographs that can be cherished for generations.
I believe in living a clean, healthy, organic life, and that is reflected in my photography. I aim for a natural aesthetic, with earthy tones and familial atmosphere.

FREQUENTLY ASKED
The ideal time for a maternity photo shoot is typically between the 28th and 32nd weeks of pregnancy when your baby bump is beautifully prominent. This timeframe allows for a comfortable session, showcasing your glowing presence without any unnecessary stress.
Maternity sessions usually last around 1 to 1.5 hours. During this time, we’ll capture a variety of poses and settings to ensure a well-rounded gallery. I strive to create a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere, focusing on genuine moments and the natural beauty of your pregnancy. Feel free to share any specific ideas or preferences you have in mind!
Choose clothing that makes you feel comfortable and confident. Solid colors and timeless styles tend to photograph well. Maxi dresses, form-fitting outfits that accentuate your bump, and flowy fabrics often work beautifully.
We also have a client wardrobe available if you need help finding some pieces to wear during your session!
The optimal time for newborn sessions is within the first two weeks of life when babies are still very sleepy and curl up naturally. It’s best to contact me during your pregnancy to tentatively schedule a session, and we can adjust the date based on when your little one arrives.
To help ensure a smooth session, it’s helpful to feed and burp your baby right before the session. Dress your baby in loose-fitting clothes to avoid any marks on the skin. Bringing a pacifier and any special blankets or accessories you’d like to include can also personalize the session.
You can expect a sneak peek within a week of the session, and your purchased photos will be delivered within 2-3 weeks. We’ll provide high-resolution digital files with any purchased image, ready for you to share with family and friends.
FINE ART
After your session is complete, we’ll invite you to a private cinematic reveal of all of your photos. During this reveal, we’ll start designing your stunning custom artwork to display in your home.
