The frenzy of the holiday season! Christmas is always such a crazy time for me in the studio. Balancing the typical holiday rush and playing Santa for my family is no easy task! I absolutely gush over all the festivity in the air this time of year, and I get to use some super cute stuff for newborn sessions. This gorgeous family utilized my holiday set up in my Coronado studio to capture some lifestyle shots!
I know that my Christmas set might look a little different than your typical decorations. My goal is to maintain a family centric photo session that isn’t overwhelmed with holiday props. These simple, but classy, touches to my usual studio set up bring the festive winter energy without pulling away from this beautiful family. A lot of these shots can make for magnificent holiday cards, but can also be hung in your home all year long! This sweet girl looked so precious in the neutral choices mom and dad made. I truly love getting to work with natural, earthy tones! We even got to put one of my Christmas headbands into some of these shots and I was just swooning!
Christmas is such a magical time for my family, and I am beyond honored to capture that same magic for families like this one. I sincerely hope your holiday season was filled with wonderful moments and spent with loved ones. The new year is fast approaching and that means onto new adventures! Kids don’t stay little forever, so capture those small smiles while you can!
